Thank you again, so let’s begin.
You have the help of Yuna the Guide to navigate your way through the woods.
After a terrible cataclysm, your aim as the Hive Mind is to protect and guide your insect tribe to safety, build a new home and with the help of your tribe, and use strategy to manage, expand and defend your empire.
During the game, you will have access to a choice of woodland sprites that act as pets to help you on your journey. So far there is the Shrublet, but eventually, there will be others such as the Toadstool who will fight and do your bidding.

Protect your mythical woodland with ancient magic and hidden mysteries and train your woodland sprite to uncover secrets and lead your Hive to victory.
The woods are full of enemies, like Nora the Hedge Witch and many more. With enemies come allies from unlikely places like the Snail Rider Clan.
Seek out the mythical Sunny Uplands and solve the wide variety of unique and fun puzzles.
The artwork is brilliant! The game developer often updates on how he’s getting on with the game and the development of each character. It’s amazing to see all the work and effort put in to create each character and how many lines of code is needed to bring them to life. It’s obvious that a lot of hard work has gone into this game by the solo developer. He has made a great looking and detailed world that I am excited to have to go at!
See them for yourself on the game-play trailer below.
A British game (PC and Mac) currently available to wishlist on Steam which will be released sometime in 2019. It’s already on my list.
With regular updates, why not see for yourself and follow the solo game developer with the progress on the game on Twitter @RodatGHG.
He also has a website; http://www.goldenheartgames.com/home/ which is full of information and updates on Hive Quest. The website also gives insight into what the solo game developer is like, which is that he is a cool and positive hard working guy.
I don’t know about you, but when I see/play an excellent game, I also wonder what the mastermind who made the game is like and by going on Golden Heart Games and Twitter you are able to!
Available soon to Streamers and YouTubers: a pre-alpha version to play while the developer is still deciding on features. This won’t be available to the public.
My predicted rating for this game is 7 out of 10.
This game is original and I can’t wait to play it when it comes out. I love animals, puzzles and strategy games which is why I can’t wait for this game to come out!
